Following the media criticisms of the inclusion of debutant Super Eagles such as Flying eagles and Yum Yum FC defender Daniel Bameyi,with Victor Sochima of Rivers United and Kingsley Aniagboso of NNL outfit Giant Brillars into the 23 man squad of the super eagles, manager Jose Peseiro has come out to make it clear his reasons for his actions.
In an Interview with NFF TV, Peseiro claims he already watched the players in action most especially Daniel Bameyi while playing for the flying eagles in the just concluded U20 AFCON in Egypt where he lead his team to a third place finish along with Kingsley Aniagboso who was the team goalkeeper.
He further emphasized on the ability of Bameyi to play both Right back and Center Back as he had called two left backs, two right backs and four center backs with Bameyi able to play two positions.

However, the young defender along with names like Sochima and Kingsley Aniagboso may not even get some playing time although for the eagles as he may not get chosen to start for today's game which is by five against Guinea Bissau in the AFCON qualifying game at the MKO Abiola stadium.
