JUST IN: Dutch World Cup player picks up injury a week before the World Cup!

Seven days before the world cup another potential tragedy is looming on the shores of the Netherlands as one of their star players included in the World Cup squad has been taken off in a Serie A game this afternoon.

26 year old dutch international and Inter Milan right back Denzel Dumfries was substituted in the 71st minute of the lunch time kick off between Inter Milan and Atlanta at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo in the Italian top flight's biggest fixture of the week.

Its been a week of untimely and unexpected injury and the dutch fans will hope that Dumfries doesn't suffer a serious injury as he's yet to be accessed and given a verdict, hopping off painfully to be replaced by teamate Rauol Bellanova.
