The Under 20 Football team of Nigeria known as the flying eagles were on Tuesday handed a tough draw against unbeaten Uganda in the Total U20 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt's quarterfinals.
Ladan Bosso's boys bounced back from a terrible start following a 1-0 loss to group toppers Senegal by following it up with back to back wins against hosts Egypt and South African nation Mozambique.
But the record seven time champions will perhaps now face a much more tougher opposition again in the last eight this time in the name of Uganda. The hippos finished unbeaten and top of their group A in the tournament and will now face Nigeria on Thursday evening at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismaila by 19:00 Nigerian time.
