ADEWALE ADEYINKA FIRST HALF SEASON PERFORMANCE BY STATS - REPORT

Kwara United amazing summer introduction from Akwa United Adewale Adeyinka has once again wrapped of some breathtaking numbers in his first season with the harmony boys.

The CHAN eagles goalkeeper has managed eight starts so far from nine league games in a torrid season which has seen Kwara United pick just nine points from nine games and a possible twenty seven points which sees them float in eight position in the ten team league of group A in this season's abridged version of the Nigerian Premier Football League.

Moreover, the teams situation has been so detrimental which has seen the exit of former manager Azeez Mohammed and the appointment of interim manager Kabir Dogo till the end of the season.

But in spite of all tribulations the 2021 NPFL goalkeeper of the year has proved to be a thorn in the flesh of oppositions as usual and one of the most functioning departments still in his team.

Here are some highlights of the Super Eagles goalkeeper so far in action:

Adeyinka, 25: who many would expect to also struggle along with the team who sits above relegation waters is ranked 9th of 20 Nigerian Premier Football League goalkeepers in terms of clean sheets in the proper league season with his three clean sheets in seven games and a further 5 in all competitions including the CAF Confederations Cup games earlier in the season.

The former Akwa United goalkeeper also boasts of the fourth best save per game record in the league so far with almost over 34 shots saved so far and one of the best percentage overall in tenth place with 42.9% so far despite Kwara United being in eighth place out ten.

One could only think of what an addition of more quality players could do to uplift the team having already had one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
