REAL MADRID VS BARCELONA PREVIEW:


The 252nd official El Classico meeting between the two giants of Spanish football comes alive later tonight in Madrid and Orange Football is on hand you a form guide to help your predictions.

Barcelona do have an edge statistically in the Copa Del Rey. Their last meeting was in the Spanish Super cup in Saudi Arabia where they ran out 3-1 winners. The last time they faced each other in the competition was also in the 2018/19 season when Barcelona ran out 3-0 winners at the Santiago Bernebeu courtesy of goals from Luis Suarez and an Raphael Varane Own Goal.

But in their 35 Copa Del Rey clashes Real Madrid have won twelve times loosing fifteen times to Barcelona while the game ended in draws eight times. 

Carlo Ancelotti's men are heavy favorites for the future in the first leg. The return leg comes later at the Camp Nou on March 19th.
