EL CLASSICO: BARCELONA INJURY WOES AHEAD OF REAL MADRID CLASH

Barcelona's clash against rivals Real Madrid is anytime any days regarded as the most anticipated match of the season in what ever competition it is. However for the first time in a while the tie may come at some sort of period of disadvantage and form. 

The Blaugrana have lost back to back games in the past two meetings under head coach Xavi, and unfamiliar story this term following Europa League play off losses to Manchester United and a surprise defeat to Almeria in La Liga but the problems doesn't end there for the Spanish giants. 

Injury worries have always been a major problem so far this season for the Catalans but now with the best legs out:

Robert Lewandoski: Barcelona announced on Monday that the striker has picked up a hamstring injury and will therefore be sidelined without a certain return date. 

Ousmane Dembele: The Frenchman is due to return in time for the second leg against Real Madrid on March 19th after gradually returning from a thigh injury which he suffered at the end of January.

Pedri: Barcelona's bright midfield dynamo is also ruled out and will only return in time for a La Liga tie with Athletic Club on March 12th after sustaining a hamstring as well.

 
Real Madrid on the other hand are boosted by the return of Rodrygo even if his availability won't be rushed.
