Four games in a row for the Nigerian Premier Football League record clean sheet holding goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka - his side looked sharp and stunning as he made six saves in the first half denying the Bendel Insurance attack, but in the end his brilliance was thwarted by a late goal which meant his team left Benin with just a point as it finished Bendel Insurance 2-2 Kwara United.

Ikechukwu Nwani's Sunshine Stars earned a hard fought 1-1 draw in Bayelsa last weekend in matchday nine in the Nigerian Premier Football League, a result that keeps the Owena waves 14th on the log with 10 points so far.


SAMSON OLSAUPO

Samson Olsasupo's started from the bench but his efforts were not enough offensively in their visit to Akwa to play Rangers International. The game ended goaless showing the strength of the Chanji boys defensively as they worked in units to breakdown the attacking flair of coach Fidelis Illechukwu's men.
