NIGERIAN STAR SALIMAN KAYODE JOINS FK ZVIJEZDA FROM FK ZLATIBOR

20 year old Nigerian right winger Saliman Kayode has signed for Bosnia and Herzegovina outfit FK Zvijezda as a free agent from Serbian club FK Zlatibor where he spent last season with 4 goals and three assists averaging the completed successful dribbles in the team as well which drew the attention of scouts continent wide for his signature.

Founded in 2009, Fudbalski klub Zvijezda 09 is a professional association football club located in the town of Ugljevik, near the city of Bijeljina, in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since its inception, the club has consistently made impressive strides up the football pyramid of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the 2019-20 Bosnian Premier League season, Zvijezda 09 unfortunately suffered relegation after finishing in 12th place. However, they have now regained their promotion and will once again compete in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This promotion was earned by excelling in the First League of the Republika Srpska.

The team's home matches take place at the Ugljevik City Stadium, which will now witness their second appearance in the top-flight league after their noteworthy performance in the 2018-2019 season, where they finished in ninth place.

 Kayode will wear the number 17 jersey ahead of the new season as the sixth signing with his new club hoping to make a difference and further improve on both his personal statistics and team achievements
