The flying eagles of Nigeria officially brought down the curtains on their CAF U20 African Cup of nations Egypt 2023 with an impressive four star performance against Tunisia when they bounced back from a 1-0 semi final loss to fellow West Africans, The Gambia.
In a game of consolation on both sides at the Cairo International stadium on Friday afternoon, the rekordmeister met stiff competition from fallen North Africans Tunisia who lost as well to another West African giants and favorites Senegal by 3-0.
However, it was Ladan Bosso's boys who drew first blood in the nation capital. Ibrahim Muhammed scored as early as in the ninth minute to show the intended rage in the team and the urge that they wanted to show in signifying that they had good outing at the tournament.
Furthermore, early second half goals from Ahmed Abdullahi and later a brace from man of the match Jude Sunday who struck twice in the second forty five to put the flying eagles miles ahead of Tunisia solidified a 4-0 win in style.
