One of the fastest growing prospects as a defender in the NPFL James Ajako once again entertained a number of watchful eyes as the Akwa United left back put in a man of the match performance against Shooting Stars.
Ajako, who had already had an assist and two goals to his name in nine games this session with six clean sheets came up clutch again in the second half when the lightening quick defender burst into the midfielder to deliver a cross field assist to fellow wing back Taiye Muritala who scored one of the goals of the season against Akwa United.

Voted the man of the match, Ajako now has two goals and two assist with seven clean sheets in the NPFL which is a fantastic stats for a defender and will aim for more as Akwa United travel to Edo to play Bendel Insurance, the team which his first best performance came against this season despite the 2-0 loss at home on opening day.
