Following the massive earthquake which hit the nation of Turkey and some part of Syria few days ago in the region of Gaziantep, Officials have reported over a whooping 25,000 deaths and several other injuries as of Saturday the 11th of February 2023 to people from all works of life including footballers. Many of which have unfortunately also lost their lives such as Turkish footballer Eyup Turkaslan has tragically been declared dead after the earthquake which has devastated his homeland and Syria.

However the NPFL's fastest player of the 2021/22 season Wisdom Fernando who is currently under trails with two specially requested unidentified Turkish clubs in the European country has been confirmed to be hale and hearty given the fact that although he had felt effects of the earthquake, was not close enough to the region of the incident. Federations however from different nations are pouring to check up on their nationals trying to make in living in the land of four seasons, including the NFF who have checked up on Super Eagles in Turkey.
