Akwa United striker and former Dakkada player Moses Effiong has quickly praised the efforts of experienced teammate Cyril Olisema who's terrific form has helped the club in recent matches. Olisema who's amazing form back in 2019 with Enyimba saw him named the NPFL best Midfielder of the abridged season when they went on to win it.
However although playing for the club before, Olisema has returned to be a more improved player in his second spell under Ayodeyi Ayeni and has now scored back to back goals in the league away against Kwara in the loss on match day 5 and just recently from the spot in the win at home at the expense of Remo.
His form however, has been a pleasing one to striker Moses Effiong who feels his return has only improved the mentality of other players in the squad both in training and in games. "I feel he's an amazing player who makes all of us look amazing as well, we learn a lot from each other and this is very important if we need to go higher on the table." Effiong told Orange Football Magazine.
"He's been here before exactly in the same format of this league so he's been through it before. "I believe he has enough to help us navigate it and enable the club repeat her achievement in 2021."
Olisema had earlier been reported to join Saudi Arabian club Al Kawkab not for unexplainable circumstances saw him return to the Promise keepers. His form, will particularly excite the squad who might have felt the absence of fellow teammate Ndifreke Effiong who just secured a deal outside the country in Iraq.
El Kanemi next entertain Akwa United and the fans along side super striker Moses Effiong will hope they can repeat a nice outing away from home just like this season over three matches ago that saw them clinch three points and three goals in the north against Nassarawa United.
