BREAKING: EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH LEGENDARY DAKKADA COACH CALEB ESU — Everything that happened behind the scene at Dakkada!

Legendary and former Dakkada FC manager Caleb Esu has once again come under the spotlight as the media and supporters of football in Akwa Ibom state suggest immediate solutions to save the sinking ship in the name of Dakkada FC who currently sit 9th in the 10 team table of the Group A in the NPFL 2022/23 Abridged league season with 4 points from a possible 21, winless in their last five, facing relegation and just a game away from the first break in the season ahead of the upcoming 2023 elections.

Caleb Esu however has not debunked his interest in reclaiming the job he almost single handedly created in 2019 when Dakkada FC gained promotion to the top flight before being relieved of his services quite controversially despite a great start to the Covid 19 affected season.

"I am open to return to Dakkada FC,"— the coach confirmed again. "I know what I went through last time, but if they're ready to do things professionally, I'm definitely ready to go back and change the narratives". However that was just the first of a handful of negative observations that the experienced ex manager stated out in his exclusive interview with Orange Football Magazine

"Allowing the Coach and his technical crew to be solely responsible for their Selection" — Esu added quite confidently. A piece of information already confirmed by renowned state Journalist Nsisong Emmanuel while addressing the issues facing the team to his listeners a week ago. " He should not be put under unnecessary pressure on which player to be fielded in a match." He also gave an honest assessment of the inappropriate activities and personalities needed in a professional team: " They should think of having a psychologist or a performance expert as a premier league team. Whether they have money to pay or not. Lastly who is Dakkada FC's Sporting Director?" He added

Esu, a CAF A license Holder's complaints nonetheless wouldn't end there as he mustered an affectionate warning to the management of the team regardless of his stance of availability for re-employment "They should not allow Dakkada FC to go on relegation, I worked hard to bring the team to Premier League. My effort should not be watered down".

The chosen ones escaped relegation last season by the whiskers, this season it seems the team has lost its spirit as fans clamour for it's resurrection which may come by the reappointment of manger Caleb Esu who had already turned down an offer from ZESCO United Football Club of Zambia.
