Former Dakkada head coach and former Enyimba assistant manager Caleb Esu has confirmed his current contractual situation without a club since leaving Enyimba last season.
The former NNL Champion has admitted that he was approached by Abia Warriors but did not accept the offer due to wage demands and is also open to a "Serious and that has an ambition for promotion" NNL club again.
*Abia Warriors came calling but said I was too expensive,,I don't mine an NNL clubside that is serious and has ambition to promote*—Esu confirmed.
With the next NPFL season uncertain of a resumption date, Esu will keep waiting for an offer hoping his 2019/20 NPFL debut magic with Dakkada plays a big part on his resume.
