Clinton Jephta has won April's NPFL Player of the Month award, surpassing rivals Deputy Echeta of Rivers United, Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars, Junior Lokosa of Sporting Lagos, Micheal Ibe of Katsina United, and Friday Ubong of Akwa United.
The Niger Tornadoes forward stood out in the NPFL, earning April’s Player of the Month League Bloggers Award. Jephta scored four goals in the month, three of which came in consecutive matches. Two of these goals were during a 5-0 victory over Gombe United in Kaduna. Additionally, he inspired a 3-1 away win at Bendel Insurance by assisting two goals before scoring himself.

In April, Jephta recorded the most goal contributions and Man of the Match awards in the Nigeria Premier Football League:

- 4 goals
- 2 assists
He also won two penalties and a free kick, all of which were converted by his team. Jephta was the Man of the Match when Niger Tornadoes ended Bendel Insurance's seventeen-year NPFL unbeaten run at home, scoring a goal and providing two assists in their 3-1 win.
Jephta has also been named Niger Tornadoes' Player of the Month for April.
