In the closing minutes of the game the Promise Keepers were once again given the chance to seal all three points yet again from the spot but this time Uche Collins could not beat the in form Adewale Adeyinka who still holds the record for most clean sheets in the NPFL in a single season (16)- an achievement from his playing days at Akwa United where they won the league.

The one time Super Eagles invitee had stated before the game against Akwa United in his pre match press conference:

"We know their weaknesses and we will exploit them — We are confident of a positive result because the team is in form" and went on during the game to have eight saves and yet another penalty save!!

Following his previous penalty save against Gombe United in the last game Adeyinka is yet to concede in open play in his last two games and becomes the first goalkeeper to save two penalties in back to back games in the NPFL for the last 10 years.

Sadeeq Yusuf on the other hand got dropped from the Akwa United squad when Fatai Osho took over in June and he signed for Kwara United but then scored an unbelievable goal for Kwara United against Akwa United in Eket which many describe as classic football moment.

He however apologized for celebrating his stunning goal against his former club speaking later to NPFL TransferMarket:

"I feel so excited like I'm very so much excited about the goal I scored, though its my former club I never wanted to celebrate but the goal is amazing, I just had to celebrate. For the fans I'm sorry for celebrating because it was my darling team and I love the team"
A second league goal for Yusuf and second consecutive Penalty save for Adeyinka, it poetic justice that the two former Akwa United stars turning up big time to deny their former club a win at home and the fans back in Illorin will hope that the harmony boys carry on with this superb form.
