David Onovo scored the only goal for Sunshine Stars that gave them a 1-0 win over table toppers Lobi Stars on Sunday and also scored the opener on Wednesday after receiving a clever pass from Midfield maestro Achi Nnaemeka, before Yusuf Ibrahim converted from the spot to wrap up a comfortable 2-0 round of 64 win over Basira FC in the Aiteo FA Cup in a game played at the Confluence Township Stadium, Lokoja.
The striker who had been confident of his team going far in the competition has certainly contributed to the pledge, now registering five goal contributions in a very tough campaign, the second most involved player in goals after Samson Olasupo (6 GA) for Sunshine Stars this season.
