Manchester United of England beat FC Barcelona of Spain on Thursday night in the second leg of their Europa league tie at Old Trafford 2-1 after ninety minutes and 4-3 on Penalties
Robert Lewandoski got on the score sheet to give the visitors the lead from the spot with Barcelona awarded a penalty after captain Bruno Fernandes fouled Alejandro Balde inside the penalty area. David De Gea although so close still couldn't deny the Polish international.
But just like in the first leg when the Catalans went ahead first at the Camp Nou, Manchester United rallied back to get into the lead a few minutes after the second half restart with Fred scoring from a Bruno Fernandes assist.
The comeback was completed when another Brazilian Antony Santos who recently returned from injury scored the winner for the red devils on the end of a rebound on the edge of the penalty area keeping United's hopes for a quadruple still alive.
