The Qatar 2022 World Cup will surly go down in the history books as one World Cup that had been missed by a host of football talents due to various injuries picked up unfortunately with a very short time to recover before the competition began
Bayern Munich and Senegalese forward Sadio Mane is officially ruled out of the World Cup after failing to recover from a leg injury he picked up a Bundesliga game for german Champions Bayern Munich against Shackle 04 in a 5-0 routine victory.
The 30 year old had been substituted in the game and predicted to miss out on the world's biggest tournament in November by club medicals and major media houses but was assured a bit of participation after being included in the 26 man list by the Senegalese FA and Head coach Aliou Cisse. However after making his first ever appearance in 2018, the two time African player of the year has now been definitely ruled out of the Qatar 2022 despite the African Champion's earlier claims of using herbalists and witch doctors from Senegal.
The Lions of Teranga will begin their world cup campaign against The Netherlands in group A on the 21st of November in a game they will hope their other Stars such as Ismaila Sarr, Boulaye Dia, Pape Meta Sarr and others rise to the occasion to ensure that the absence of Mane isn't felt by the nation of Senegal and the African continent as a whole.
