CHIJIOKE MBAOMA || ENYIMBA WIN NIGERIAN PREMIER FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2023 IN LAGOS

Enyimba International are champions of the 2023 Nigerian Premier Football League for the first since last getting their hands on the title in 2019 which coincidentally was also an abridged season of the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) following their 1-1 draw with Rivers United yestreday.

The record champions were confirmed champions of the Nigerian Premier Football League once more on Sunday evening after the draw against defending Champions Rivers United at the Mobolaji Johnson arena. Enyimba success, although being heavily attributed to top scorer Chukwuemeka Obioma who won the golden boot with 16 goals from 20 games for the People's Elephants that saw him claim the Eunisell Golden Boot prize can also be traced to striker Chijioke Mbaoma who also proved to be influential in the title running with his last two goals helping Enyimba to a 3-0 over Sunshine Stars in the Previous game.
