OFFICIAL: DAVID ONOVO JOINS SUNSHINE STARS AHEAD OF THE NEW SEASON!

 

OFFICIAL AND CONFIRMED - David Onovo has joined Sunshine Stars as a free agent from Akwa United. The winger signs on an initial one season deal with the option to extend after a breakout season with former league champions Akwa United in the 2021/22 NPFL Season.

Deal already signed, sealed and delivered. Onovo will be available for selection for the Akure Gunners in the next NPFL fixture barring unforseen circumstances with all wages and bonuses undisclosed but at standard Sunshine Stars FC payment range.

"I'm very happy to join Sunshine Stars- Onovo told NPFL TransferMarket on saturday, I feel it is a great club and I can't wait to get into action with the team as soon as a possible, I feel I have so much to contribute to the development of the team on and off the pitch." The winger's first game will probably come against Rangers away at the Awka City Stadium with hopes to get on the scoresheet as soon as possible.
